Voting equipment issues have caused problems for some Muscogee County voters at about 10 of the city's 48 precincts. The problem sites are scattered across the city, said Muscogee County Director of Elections Nancy Boren.

I no longer recognize marriage. It's a new thing I'm trying. Turns out it's fun. Yesterday I called a woman's spouse her boyfriend. She says, correcting me, "He's my husband," "Oh," I say, "I no longer recognize marriage."
In last week's election, Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss (R) received more votes than his Democratic challenger Jim Martin but fell 0.2 percent short of the 50-percent-plus needed under Georgia law to win the election.
Wow, is all one can say!

In a 2002 senatorial election, Saxby Chambliss ran one of the most disgusting campaign ads I can recall. He compared then-Senator Max Cleland of Georgia to Osama bin Laden, as well as questioning Cleland's courage and patriotism.
Let's just get this out of the way. I voted for George W. Bush not once, but, twice. I formally apologize to everyone in the United States. I was wrong. While we are in confession mode, I likely would have voted for Bob Dole, too, had I been old enough.
